Getting Started

Welcome to Listify! This guide will walk you through installing the app and creating your first gift registry.

Installation

  1. Visit the Listify page on the Shopify App Store
  2. Click Add app and authorize the permissions
  3. Once installed, you'll be redirected to the Listify dashboard

Initial Setup

After installation, Listify will guide you through a quick setup process:

1. Configure your registry settings

Navigate to Settings in the Listify dashboard to customize:

  • Registry types — Choose which occasion types to offer (wedding, baby shower, birthday, etc.)
  • Email notifications — Configure automated emails for registry events
  • Branding — Match the registry experience to your store's look and feel

2. Add the storefront widget

Listify uses a Shopify theme extension to display registries on your storefront:

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize in your Shopify admin
  2. Find the Listify blocks in the App blocks section
  3. Add the registry widget to your desired pages
  4. Configure colors and styles to match your theme

3. Create your first registry

You can create a test registry from the dashboard:

  1. Click Registries in the sidebar
  2. Click Create Registry
  3. Fill in the registry details (name, occasion, date)
  4. Add products from your store
  5. Save and preview the registry on your storefront
