Gift Registries

Gift registries are at the heart of Listify. Your customers can create registries for any occasion and share them with friends and family.

Creating a Registry

Customers can create registries directly from your storefront widget. As a store owner, you can also create registries from the admin dashboard.

Registry Details

Each registry includes:

• Title — A name for the registry (e.g., "Sarah & John's Wedding Registry")
• Occasion — The type of event (wedding, baby shower, birthday, housewarming, etc.)
• Date — The event date
• Description — A personal message from the registry owner
• Cover image — An optional image displayed on the registry page

Adding Products

Products can be added to a registry in several ways:

• From the storefront — Customers browse your store and click "Add to Registry" on product pages
• From the admin — Store owners can add products directly in the registry editor
• Quick add — Search and add multiple products at once

Sharing Registries

Each registry gets a unique shareable URL. Registry owners can share via:

• Direct link — Copy and paste the registry URL
• Email — Send registry invitations directly from Listify
• Social media — Share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and more

Password Protection

For private events, registries can be password-protected. Only visitors with the correct password can view the registry contents.

To enable password protection:

1. Open the registry in the admin dashboard
2. Go to Settings
3. Enable Password Protection
4. Set a password and share it with intended recipients

Managing Registries

Tracking Purchases

The registry dashboard shows real-time purchase tracking:

• Which items have been purchased
• Who purchased each item
• Fulfillment status
• Revenue attribution

Archiving

Registries can be archived after the event is over. Archived registries don't count toward your plan limit but remain accessible for reference.
